BBC Education Features Neil Kenlock Archive Photographs

Photographs from the Neil Kenlock Archive are featured in BBC educational resources exploring Black British history through the story of the Mangrove Nine.

The resource includes images of Dr Altheia Jones-LeCointe and Barbara Beese, two key figures in the struggle for racial justice and equality in Britain. Through photography and archival material, students are encouraged to explore the experiences, activism and community leadership that shaped an important chapter in British history.

Educational resources such as these play an important role in making Black British history more accessible to younger audiences. The inclusion of Neil Kenlock's photographs helps bring historical events and individuals to life, providing valuable visual context for learners across the UK.
